It is an intimate and quiet place with a bright and spacious space, whose unique and one-of-a-kind atmosphere will surely inspire and give joy to creative work.
A place where people share their artistic inspirations, experience and passion for ceramics. When you visit Jira Ceramics, you will feel as if you are in another world, where you are surrounded by the atmosphere of the mountains and the far north. You have to feel and see it!

four steps separate you from seeing your first ceramic work!
FIRST MEET
I will introduce you to clay - you will learn about its characteristics, composition - you will find out what to consider when choosing materials, necessary tools and accessories. You will learn all 3 techniques of clay making, with which ceramists create even the most fanciful vessels and sculptures by hand. You choose one of the techniques in order to master it. You'll learn a building technique to suit the pottery of your idea. You will learn the secrets which make your work look professional. At this stage you practice, creating your first clay works.
FIRING I - bisque
Under my watchful eye, the works you have created will dry and undergo their first firing - called bisque.
SECOND MEET
I will teach you the basic techniques of painting, glazing and decorating ceramics. I will introduce you to tricks and secrets to give your ceramics even more individuality. You will learn even more about the materials used at this stage of working on ceramics - you will learn the basics and the possibilities offered by glazes, paints and stencils. With my help, you will discover that not only at the building but also at the glazing stage, inconspicuous and often simple tools can be helpful and inspiring.
Now, you will be able to glaze and decorate your own ceramics!
FIRING II - CONGRATULATIONS AND ACCEPTANCE OF WORKS
Your ceramic works, once dry - will be subjected to a high 1200 degree firing and will await to be collected. This is a special time for every ceramicist, a time of nurturing the works and meticulous preparation for the firing and finally, impatiently awaiting the fruits of the moments spent together. It is at this stage that the ceramics will gain their full durability and acquire the fullness of their beauty and brilliance to stay with you for many years to serve and please the eye.
This will be our last meeting, but the beginning of a new friendship!

Sara gained her experience during a long creative path - during her work as an artist but also as a brand she has been creating for long years. She graduated in ceramics from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, having previously studied at the A. Kenar High School of Fine Arts in Zakopane. In addition to artistic self-realisation, she has chosen sharing her passion as her mission - she spreads knowledge about handicraft and nature in her authorial Studio from the Shadow of the Mountains, to which she would like to invite you.
During Sarah’s workshops, you will not only acquire the necessary basics of pottery making, develop as an artist but learn to draw even more inspiration from the beauty of the world around us.
It is precisely the building of bonds between all those – who are close to arts and crafts, but also to the world of flora and fauna – that she sets as her main objective, in addition to educating both herself and others :
